Almost every excursion leaving the port of Kusadasi is narrated in English. efesotours exists for cruise guests who would rather hear Ephesus in Spanish or Portuguese, with a licensed guide in their language and a day timed to their ship’s real schedule.

Who we are

Behind efesotours is Tayf Turizm, a Kusadasi travel agency that has worked with cruise passengers since 1999 and operates under a Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye licence, Group A, number 2290. The licence is shown below and in the footer of every page.

efesotours is our brand for the Spanish and Portuguese speaking market. For English speaking guests the same team runs Tours of Ephesus. Two names, one operation: the same vehicles, the same guides and the same meeting point.

How we work

Your ship sets the schedule. We do not sell a tour with a fixed start time. Choose your date on the booking page, your ship appears with its real port hours and only the tours that make it back in time. Departure is calculated from the docking time and the return is always at least one hour before sailing.

We meet inside the port. Our meeting point is the Ada Pier Lounge, inside the Cruise Plaza, two minutes from the gangway. No stepping out into the street, no hunting for a coach: a lounge with tables by the water where the group gathers and from where the vehicle leaves.

Small groups. We run 15 and 25 seat vehicles. When a day brings more bookings, two vehicles leave with two guides. On private tours the vehicle and guide are yours alone, for up to 15 people.

Licensed guides. All our guides hold a ministry licence. Group tours are narrated in Spanish as standard; English or Portuguese narration is subject to availability and confirmed on WhatsApp when you book, and on private tours your guide speaks English, Spanish or Portuguese, as you choose. We introduce each one by name and photo on the our guides page.

We say it before you book. The group tour includes a 30-minute stop at a leather outlet, with a fashion show: it is what makes the per-person price possible. Buying is your decision and the vehicle leaves after half an hour. Private tours have no shopping stops.

Who looks after you

Bookings are handled by Volkan Yırtımcı, on WhatsApp and by email. We reply the same day and, if your ship arrives tomorrow, within minutes. On the day, your guide meets you at the lounge with your name.

Our guarantees

If your ship does not reach Kusadasi, we refund 100% of the deposit. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour. You book with a small deposit and pay the rest on the day, in cash or by card. Prices are published in euros and dollars and do not change on the day.
