It lasts 30 minutes, by the clock. A short show with the season’s collection, then coffee, restrooms and the shop at your own pace. The vehicle leaves after half an hour, whether anyone buys or not.
It is what makes €39 possible. The outlet, an exporter within Türkiye’s official promotion programme, covers part of the tour cost for every visitor. We would rather say it before you book than after.
It takes nothing away from Ephesus. Your 100 minutes inside the ancient city are guaranteed; the outlet comes after Artemis, already on the way back.
Nobody follows you round the shop. Look, ask prices or sit down with a tea. If anyone insists, tell your guide: they are on your side.

How much does an Ephesus shore excursion cost from the cruise port?

Why is it €39 if a guide and vehicle are included?
Because the tour includes 30 minutes at an exporting leather outlet within Türkiye's official promotion programme, which covers part of the cost for every visitor. You watch the short show and freely decide whether to browse or have a coffee. We prefer to explain this clearly before you book.
Can I skip the leather outlet?
Not on the group tour: it is the stop that supports the price, and the vehicle travels together. What you can do is buy nothing and spend the half hour in the café. If you prefer a day with no commercial stop at all, any of our private tours: none of them includes it.
What exactly is the leather outlet?
An exporting leather house with its own factory shop. The visit opens with about ten minutes of runway with models and the season's collection, in a seated, air-conditioned hall; photos are fine. Then twenty free minutes for the shop, coffee or restrooms, and the vehicle leaves.
What is the shuttle at the end?
When you leave the leather outlet, one of our vehicles takes this group straight back to the port while the main vehicle continues with guests who booked the House of the Virgin Mary. You don't wait out an itinerary longer than the one you bought: you're back earlier, with more margin.
Will we make it back to the ship on time?
Yes. Every departure is planned around your ship's actual arrival and sailing times, and we return at least 1 hour before departure. If your ship skips Kusadasi you get a 100% refund.
How much walking is involved?
About 2 km inside the ancient city, mostly downhill at an easy pace with shaded breaks. Reduced mobility is manageable: message us on WhatsApp and we'll adapt.
Can I add the House of the Virgin Mary?
Yes, that's our full-day tour, same €39 fare and just €15 more in entry. Both groups leave together and split at the end of the day.
