What is Şirince and why is it worth it?
A hillside village 25 minutes from Ephesus, known for Greek-Ottoman architecture, fruit wines and an unhurried rhythm. It's the perfect contrast after the crowds of the ancient city, and entry is free.
Are there shopping stops?
No. None of our private tours includes a commercial stop: the leather outlet exists only on the group tours, where it supports the €39 price. On a private tour the day is yours from start to finish.
Is the wine tasting included?
Şirince's wine houses offer small tastings free or for €2–3; what you buy is up to you. Our guide takes you to the family-run houses, not the tourist traps.
Is it good for children?
Yes: Ephesus in the morning, then a village with ice cream, alleys and room to run. Şirince is usually the kids' favourite part.
How long a port call do we need for this private tour?
From 7 hours 15 minutes in port, counting 45 minutes to disembark and meet and the return 1 hour before sailing. If you want lunch, we do it in Selçuk on the way back from Şirince; allow 1 more hour: from 8 hours 15 minutes.
