How much does the Ephesus ticket cost in 2026?

In 2026, the entrance to the ancient city of Ephesus costs 40 euros or 46 dollars per person and includes the Experience Museum, an immersive museum inside the archaeological site itself. Ephesus is about 20 kilometers from the port of Kusadasi, some 25 minutes by vehicle, and the guided walk takes around 2 hours.

What does the Ephesus ticket include?

The 2026 ticket covers access to the archaeological site, where the route passes the Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre and the marble street. It also includes the Experience Museum, which recreates the life of ancient Ephesus with projections. There is no second ticket to buy for the museum: it sits inside the site and is part of the same ticket.

What the ticket does not include is the explanation. The House of the Virgin Mary, a chapel and Catholic pilgrimage site on the mountain, is combined with Ephesus on the same day. The Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, charges no entrance, and neither does the village of Şirince. The Basilica of St John is in Selçuk.

How much does an Ephesus shore excursion from Kusadasi cost?

Ephesus is about 20 kilometers from the port and the transfer takes some 25 minutes each way. When calculating your day, subtract the time that is not yours: about 45 minutes to get off the ship and gather, and a one-hour margin before sailing.
