Ephesus from Celebrity Cruises: Infinity, Ascent, Xcel and Equinox in Kusadasi
Celebrity has the longest season in Kusadasi among the American lines: late March to November. The Celebrity Infinity arrives in March and repeats 21 times until October, almost always from 08:00 to 18:00. The Ascent, Xcel and Equinox follow in the summer months with ten and eleven hour calls, and the Eclipse closes the year in November. In every case there is time for the full day.
For American guests who speak Spanish at home and for travellers from Latin America and Brazil, the offer is simple: a licensed guide in your language, a small group and a return to the port one hour before sailing. Which tour fits your schedule
Celebrity Infinity, 08:00 to 18:00. Ten hours. The group tour to Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis has you back at the port in the early afternoon; the full day with the House of the Virgin Mary uses the afternoon, when the site empties. On the March and April dates the ancient city is walked at a calmer pace than in high summer.
Ascent, Xcel and Equinox, from 08:00 or 09:00. Ten and eleven hour calls in summer. Beyond the two group options, this is the ideal schedule for a private tour: the House of the Virgin Mary first thing, before the coaches, then Ephesus at your own pace. For pilgrims and parish groups, the private tour with the Basilica of St John completes the Christian sites of the area.

Frequently asked questions
The Infinity calls in March and April. Is that a good time for Ephesus?
One of the best. Mild temperatures for walking, fewer visitors in the ancient city and a quieter House of the Virgin Mary. Bring a light layer for the morning; by midday you will not need it.
On some dates we arrive at 07:00. What time does the tour leave?
Departure is aligned with Ephesus opening hours, so you lose nothing by arriving early. The booking page shows the exact meeting, departure and return times for your date.
We are a group of friends. Private or group tour?
With more than six people the private tour usually pays off: one price per vehicle for up to 15 people, your own guide and no shopping stops. On a ten-hour call you can add Şirince or the Basilica of St John without hurrying.
